Pamela will begin with an
introduction and review of the different ways you can trim your knickers
followed by a hands on HOW TO attach knicker elastic session.  The TRIED & TRUE knicker pattern has
been developed for lightweight woven fabrics, If you’d like some assistance
with fabric selection Pamela will be on hand (from 10am) before the class begins
to help out. Please do not select silky satin
type fabrics for your first project as they are particularly difficult to handle
and sew.

This class is best suited to
sewers with an intermediate to advanced skill level and includes laying out the
pattern and cutting your fabric, attaching knicker elastic, straight stitching, zig-zag stitching,
working with elastic and ribbons (depending
on how you trim your knickers) and
hand sewing.  Each
step will be demonstrated and Pamela will then be on hand to guide you as
you complete your project.

The pattern comes in sizes 8-14 and is included in the total
cost of the class. Body measurements are listed below:
