Pattern Review – Vogue 2091

Meet Ann – who has been a Tessuti customer from way back when we started. Ann also attends the sewing classes at Sit’n’Sew’ in Forestville – Sydney. None of the girls taking part in the lessons that day knew I was popping in to take photos of them at work. I must say I was impressed how great they all looked in their creations made up in previous classes. After all their hard work it is great to be able to show them off to one another – especially as they have seen them from start to finish. But the best bit is completing these great outfits with just the right accessories….it really completes the whole look. Don’t you think? There are more to come from the girls I photographed that day in later posts… stay tuned.

Here Ann has made up our Italian Viscose/Elastane knit ‘Zee Stripe’ in Vogue 2091 in view B. This pattern has been in the Vogue pattern catalogue for a while now and should never be discarded…. this is a timeless and simple dress for jersey knits. Most of our customers that have bought this pattern have had great success with it and use it again and again. All 3 of these styles could be used as a great top pattern as well.

And the finished look…. a great shawl/scarf, lovely black bead and pearl necklace, textured belt and lace-up shoes. Very much The Satorialist look….just minus the Paris or Milan settings.
