Pattern Review – McCalls 5186

I just love this waistcoat that Georgia made in Tessuti’s 100% Cotton Velvet ‘Black Bonnie Stripe’. The pattern used is McCalls 5186 – view D – and she didn’t alter the pattern at all!
The little touches added were some lovely glass buttons in black/gold, contrasting lining in Tessuti’s Italian silk satin ‘Bronze Pois’ and crushed velvet trim ribbon in black was used for the back ties.
