Loving Japanese Cottons.

Melissa emailed me this great shot of her beautiful daughter Sybilla in these super funky harem pants (her own pattern) made up in Tessuti’s Japanese 100% Cotton ‘Night Flowers’ . This lovely lightweight cotton fabric has a wonderful subtle seersucker effect. Just perfect for these cute pants.

Melissa says,
‘I used to sew a bit when I was a teenager, but I hadn’t really got back into it until recently. Making baby clothes is loads of fun, you can have fun with proportions and prints while they are too young to have their own opinions!’….. So true!
