Pattern Review – Vogue 1026 and Butterick 4980

Vogue 1026

I met lovely Alice last year in our Tessuti Melbourne store, armed with dress patterns and needing some help with fabric suggestions. A shop full of fabric is surely daunting for a non-sewer….I know it’s a struggle for those of us that can!!!

So I was very happy to receive an email from both Alice and her mother Jeanette (who made the dresses) letting me know that they were thrilled with the end results:

‘After her initial shock at having to deal with sewing georgette silk, Jeanette was very relieved with the results using Butterick pattern 4980 and Alice was also thrilled with her new dress . We were also very happy with the results of the Badgley Mischka pattern Vogue 1026 using raw silk fabric with a contrasting silk trim. Thanks Collette for your guidance’.
