Wiksten Tulip Skirt – version 2
September 15, 2010
After making my first version that saw me a good way through summer, here is my latest Wiksten Tulip Skirt.
With this version I lengthened the ties and eliminated the buttons, using press studs instead. Oh I do love this pattern. That I can wear it in the final throes of winter and now spring and then summer too, makes me love it even more. I feel like every fabric that I’m drawn to from hereon in will be assessed for Tulip skirt suitability.
This one was made up in Suda Night Check, a 100% (Japanese) cotton that is also available in berry and mint.

Gorgeous!
Ooo, lovely. What pattern is it?
Hi Jane. All the pattern info can be found in my first post about this skirt – http://tessuti.blogspot.com/2010/01/wiksten-tulip-skirt.html
I just bought some fabric to make a 2nd version of this skirt too – it's a fantastic pattern. I love your idea about lengthening the ties… and the fabric you've chosen is lovely too.
