Pattern Reviews – McCalls 6035 and McCalls 5633

I’m finally back to my weekly sewing classes with Bernadette again, I can’t tell you how much I missed those selfish two hours to myself!!! Don’t think that it’ll be enough though, as my ‘to sew list‘ has grown considerably thanks to Pinterest!

As for Bernadette, well she was far to0 busy to miss us too much as she managed to get some free time (at last!) to whip up some new summer clothes for herself.

Here’s Bernadette’s princess seam blouse made from McCalls 6035 (view A but with the shirt collar B) in pretty Liberty Of London Wiltshire Cranberry plus these Bermuda shorts made up in Stretch Cotton – Burnt Orange and pattern McCalls 5663 ( similar also to McCalls 5391). With the shorts Bernadette eliminated the fly front adding an invisible zipper to the back as well as leaving off the belt tabs and cuffs.

And of course not forgetting our Valentine’s giveaway of 1.50mtrs of Red Love Hearts jersey! We had a fabulous response, thank you again for all of your comments.

Congratulations Suzy! Please email me at fabrics@tessuti.com.au with your postal address and we will get your jersey posted to you right away.
