Well hello Eva, our new dress pattern!

**This pattern has now been updated. For full details, visit our blog post here**

Today feels like a good day to release a pattern, no? Dear readers, let us introduce you to (as modelled here and also named after) the gorgeous Eva.

This loose summer dress has a bodice that sits at high waist and features a panelled skirt with side pockets. It can be made up in either a short-sleeved (above) or sleeveless version (below). The Eva Dress is designed as an oversized garment which makes it a fantastically comfortable and cool addition to your summer wardrobe. It’s best made up in medium weight crinkle and plain linens, textured cottons as well as cotton/metal fabrics.

As the story goes with our patterns, this one’s available in both hardcopy and PDF print-at-home/print copy shop versions. Full instructions and all sizes are included with the pattern. The top version (with sleeves) above is made up in Vintage Look  (sold out) and the sleeveless version is made up in a cotton/metal stash fabric that’s very similar to Ocean Ripple. Remember that if you use a linen, they can be a little sheer so if you make it up in such a fabric, you may prefer to wear it with a slip underneath.

Happy sewing folks. And if you do decide to acquaint yourself with the lovely Eva, let us know what you think.
