Lindy’s 3/4 Silk Organza Coat and Dress…. up close.
Lindy came into Tessuti Chatswood to pick up the silk fabric for her daughter’s wedding dress she had ordered in….which Lindy is going to make. I can’t wait to see it made up – it is going to be glorious and not your usual wedding dress. Lindy has promised to send photos when it’s finished…. look forward to that one.
She also bought in the great 3/4 silk organza coat and dress I posted about yesterday….so that I could see it up close…. here it is.
The gold stitching detail on the seams….
The stunning cobalt/gold sari fabric. It is a silk habutai with a hand painted print and then embroidered in gold thread.
This bejewelled brooch was found in a second hand store …. who would part with this special piece?
The gold trim on the cuff and hem is Tessuti ‘s silk/metal tissue organza.
Thanks for bringing it in to show me Lindy and for letting me share it around.
Lindy’s stunning bag is one of Spencer and Rutherford’s and the shoes were from Target – Lindy found a pair in this great shape but in the wrong colour, so…. Lindy bought navy shoe polish and changed them…. they cost her $50!!!
What a fabulous outfit!
