Pattern Review – McCalls 5583

Margaret looking ‘Mary Quant‘- like in this simple flared dress. The pattern used was McCalls 5583 and made up in our Cotton/Elastane It Happened In Black.
Only suggestion from Margaret would be, not to believe that this dress is ‘slightly flared’ as stated on the back of the pattern envelope. This simple dress is indeed quite flared, so taper down sides according to your taste and fabric choice, but I rather think it suits the style. After all the 60’s were… swinging!

Actually, the pattern photo shows that the dress is very flared.
I've looked at this pattern before. Glad to see it made up and worn on a real person.
