Sweet Liberty bloomers

Last month, I received a lovely email from Anna. I’d helped her to select some Liberty fabrics to make these gorgeous bloomers for her niece and she very kindly sent these pics to show me the final product. Here are the details…
Pattern – “Baby Bloomers” (size 12-18mth) from Making Children’s Clothes by Emma Hardy
Co-ordinating Lining Fabric – Another seasonal Liberty print (sold out)
Notions – Jumbo Cream Ric Rac (available all stores)
Changes – I used a 1 inch (25cm) bias tape maker to assist with the construction of the coordinating waistband lining. I used a total of 20 inches of elastic for the leg openings (the pattern suggested 26 inches)
