Our New Pattern: Meet the Tamiko Pant
Meet our latest summer pattern – the Tamiko Pant!
This pull-on pant features an elasticized waist and stitched-down side pockets. The special design feature is a lower leg panel that tapers inwards at the hem and is finished with a stitched down hem facing. Comfortable and stylish, the pattern is quick and easy to sew and is suitable for both casual or dressier occasions.
So how did the Tamiko Pant come to be? Well, back in June, we Instagrammed this photo (below) of Silva wearing her self-drafted pants. At that stage, it became pretty clear that many of you were very interested in seeing a pattern for not just the pants, but the tunic top too. And before you ask, stay tuned for that one….
Suitable fabrics for this pattern include woven fabrics such as linen, lightweight wool and cotton. We particularly love this new range of Estate soft finish linens that are all perfect for Tamiko (see our full linen range here).
The pattern comes in (Australian) sizes XXS – XL and 18-22 is now available* in both hardcopy copy and PDF version.
Love this pattern, will be patient for the tunic top so I can try and pull off the complete look. ??
These are lovely! They look so stylish but also really comfortable
Love these pants!!! I would also like to make the ‘swing’ tank shown in black in your photos. Do you have a pattern for this as well???

It’s our Ruby Top pattern made up in linen – https://www.tessuti-shop.com/collections/hardcopy-sewing-pattern-tops/products/ruby-dress-top-pattern
I just made these pants in white linen, and wow, am I ever excited. They turned out fantastically! I am going to Maui in February and can’t wait to wear these.
DO YOU HAVE THE PATTERN FOR THE BLUE DRESS/TOP ON THE MODEL WITH THE WHITE TANIKO PANTS. THANKS
Hi Gwynne. It’s on the to-do list!
