Neon Chic
I would love to pull off this look (minus the fur) from The Satorialist but alas I’m not a stunning model attending a Marni fashion show. Plus, most of you know that I can usually be found in more sombre colours and a lot of black!!!.
But, this winter, I am determined to put a little colour into my very dark wardrobe – either with accessories (shoes, scarves & great coloured opaque tights) or clothing. I am particularly in love with our new Italian tweed wool that I can visualize in a little cropped jacket to wear with my favourite Mavi jeans.
Isn’t this wool fabulous? We call it ‘Neon Tweed’. It has little twists of fluro-coloured wool mixed in with the predominately plum/brown/black background. Just perfect for this winter’s trend of brightly coloured wools. And for those of you that can pull of the fabulous look above – keep an eye out at Tessuti for our brightly coloured wool felt in Hot Pink, Turquoise, Cobalt, Jaffa, Emerald and Purple. It also comes in Winter White for those who like to dye their own colours.
Love the look too although i mostly wear more earthy tones. That tweed would make a fabulous scarf or neck warmer 🙂
I love the fabric and the colours. I am wearing bold colours a lot but without noticing. They somehow happen to me…
Where can We Purchase this Tweed Fabric? Thanks.
Hi Bonnie,
