Pattern Review – Vogue 8413
No…. your eyes aren’t going funny!…it’s this lovely fleck print in our Italian Viscose/Cotton/Spandex jersey called Red Berry Spot. Georgia used this drapey knit to make up View B in Vogue 8413 , the pattern suggests using fabrics like Crepe, Interlock Knit, Gabardine, Lightweight Flannel, Double Knit and Lightweight Tweed. I think it’s a fabulous pattern for knits, don’t you?
For this dress in jersey, Georgia omitted the back darts, zipper, front pleats and added more flare to the skirt. Instead of the back neck facing suggested, self binding in the self fabric was trimmed on the back neck edge but the front cowl neck edge was overlocked as pattern recommended. Georgia says this wonderful jersey makes it a very comfortable and easy dress to wear.

It looks lovely in that fabric. I bet it's very comfortable to wear and that print can probably really flatter a figure. Gorgeous.
