Introducing the Grazia Culottes

Today we’re introducing you to our latest pattern, the Grazia Culottes. Grazia was designed with two of our favourite qualities in mind – comfort and casual. Practical, easy and suitable for every day, we hope they fit as seamlessly into your wardrobe as they already have into ours!

Cropped with a skirt-like sway, Grazia has generous inseam pockets, topstitched back yokes and forward side seams. Hem facings add both weight and drape to the fabulously voluminous leg. And because we know you loved the flat front and elastic back of our Alba Pants, we’ve emulated it here but this time without a zip. This gives a smooth clean front which accentuates the extra wide-leg silhouette.

Grazia are not only a winning summer formula, they can also be worn in the cooler months too. Colette (below) is wearing her winter pair in this heavier Dechamp Nero Wool Gaberdine. Mmmm…structure AND warmth.

She’s paired Grazia with a simple boiled wool pullover top that may/may not/probably/definitely is a forthcoming pattern (you like?).

And because Colette loves summer infinitely more than winter, she’s also made a linen pair in Bedford Ametrine, pairing it with a Romy Top in Bedford Berry.

Our Bedford Washed Linens are the perfect linen for Grazia and Silva sewed hers up in the String colourway, lengthening for preference.

The green sample pictured (below) is made up in our Bedford Seaweed, paired with the Romy Top in Zumi cotton poplin.

Another thing to love about Grazia – they really are a pretty straightforward sew. You’ll be whipping up a pair (or two or three) in no time!

Suitable fabrics for the Grazia Culottes include medium weight linen and linen blends, cottons, wool and wool blends.. The pattern comes in (Australian) sizes 6-22 and is now available in both hardcopy and PDF copy shop/print-at-home versions.

We can’t wait to see your versions and if you’re sharing them with us on Instagram, don’t forget to use the #TessutiGrazia and #TessutiPatterns hashtags.
