Two NEW Pant Patterns – Meet Margot and Robbie!
Margot Pant made up in Bedford White and worn with our Ruby Top made up in Hanky Black Jin |
We are very excited to introduce our two latest patterns – the Margot Pant and Robbie Pant patterns. We’ve had both in the pattern-planning queue for a while but with the enormities that were our Sophie Top and Sophie Dress, they were unexpectedly delayed. And so because we think these patterns are perfect summer pants, we’ve decided to release them both while we’re still enjoying warmer days. A girl’s gotta have options, right?

First up, Margot Pant (above). This cropped pant pattern features an elasticised waist and full leg. Simple and comfortable, the design is finished to perfection with a clever side tie detail.
And then there’s Robbie Pants (below). This pull-on cropped pant features an elasticised waist and straight legs with patch pockets. Comfortable and cool for summer, the Robbie Pants are perfect for travel in addition to being a quick and easy sew.
You've done it again 🙂
But is there any chance you could go down a size smaller with your patterns? Unfortunately even XXS has been too big for me.
Thanks
Spud.
Hi Spud,
You can easily grade it down another size from the XXS, using the grade between the XXS and XS as your guide. It's worth a try 🙂
Thanks, Colette.
Yes, that's what I've been doing. Not sure how much effort it is for you to include additional (smaller and larger?) sizes – just a suggestion for the next pattern maybe 🙂
Thanks again
Spud.
Just finished a pair of Robbie pants in a heavier weight linen, 7 oz., for all-season wear. They are da bomb! I couldn’t be more pleased with the results. Such a great, flattering style. The pattern was easy to grade and simple to construct. I haven’t made clothing for myself for several decades and was apprehensive about getting back into it, especially with pants which can be tricky to fit. Thank you for making success so easy with your great pattern. The Tamiko pants are next on my list.
Thanks Barb! SO lovely to ready your feedback 🙂
Love these pants and purchased the pattern a couple years ago. I am finally getting around to sewing them and have purchased some beautiful stonewashed linen. I am a visual learner and was really hoping to find a video tutorial on the interweb but have not come across one. I was able to successfully sew your apron pattern without a video but…. Any chance you know of a video to accompany the pattern?
