The Lennox Sweatshirt

2020. The Year of Comfort Dressing. On the back of our Avalon Pants release, we really felt that those oh-so-comfy bottoms deserved to be paired with an equally comfy top. With that in mind, let us introduce you to our latest pattern – the Lennox Sweatshirt!

Lennox is a loose, boxy style that features drop shoulders and self-fabric neck and hem bands. There are two styling options – View A has a traditional V-detail at the neckline and View B has striking asymmetric colour-blocking. Sleeves can be either tapered with a sleeve band or straight and gathered into wide elasticated cuffs.

Ideal fabrics for the Lennox Sweatshirt include fleece or any double knit fabric. If you can use it for Avalon, you can use it for Lennox as well. In the picture below, Monique is rocking some twin-set perfection in our French Tag cotton loopback fleece, colour Vert.

For an alternative option, View B gives you the opportunity to mix and match three different colours in whichever coordinating or clashing combination you prefer. Pippa (below) is wearing her Lennox made up in the Drifting trio of Ivory, Storm & Olive.

The possibilities for View B are endless! Here’s a glorious merging of Soft Tag in the colours Coco, Grey & Granite.

Below is View A made up in French Tag Musk, in full love and admiration of current pastel trends.

But for something brighter, you could opt for a ‘can’t-miss-me’ option like our Cherry Drifting (below). 

Both sleeve options can be paired with either view. I made my View A (below – using Soft Tag Navy) with the View B sleeve featuring wide elasticated cuffs. Despite making it only a few months ago, this is officially going down as one of my most worn, most favourite & most comfortable makes of 2020.
