Introducing our new Cora Top pattern

Introducing our latest pattern, the Cora Top! We describe Cora as a sweet and simple style that’s been designed as a truly classic piece with the word ‘easy’ in mind – easy to sew, easy to wear, easy to pair and easy to style.

An exposed binding finishes the hem, neckline and short, grown on sleeves. Pull-on and hip length,  it’s a complete winner with skirts, pants, jeans and shorts.

The simplicity of the style is elevated with subtle details such as a curved hem that sits slightly longer at the back. Then there’s the very practical and unexpected addition of stitched down in-seam side pockets. These, combined with the exposed binding, deliver lovely structure at the hemline.

Silva LOVES her Cora Top and is wearing hers made up in our Bedford Natural Washed Linen.

As shown here, her favourite way to style it is over a gathered skirt (like our Tessuti Multi Elastic Waist Skirt) but she also loves wearing it with wide leg pants. In fact, this top works with every single one of our pants patterns.

Virginia (below) is modelling Cora made up in our Bedford Midnight Navy with a skirt (stay tuned for the pattern release of that one soon!), and the whole look is casual, cool, comfortable and relaxed.

Below, Virginia wearing  Cora with our Robbie Pants, made up in Bedford Foam – shop all our Bedford  Washed Linen colours online.

Alex’s striking pink set (below) is the Cora Top paired with the Laura Pants, made up in Harley Fuschia, with slightly shortened sleeves.

Recommended fabrics for the Cora Top include linen, linen blends, viscose, silk and wool crepe.

The pattern come in (Australian) size ranges 6-22 and is now available in both hardcopy and PDF copy shop/print-at-home versions. UK/EU customers can purchase the hard copy pattern from our Tessuti Pattern UK website. We can’t wait to see your version and if you’re sharing with us on Instagram, don’t forget to use the #TessutiPatterns #CoraTop  #SewTessuti hashtags!
