Easy dress

Emma made a very quick and easy dress out of this print for a summer holiday . Using the full width of the fabric ( it is 150cm wide ) for the dress. Which meant she had a centre back seam – no side seams. Emma cut her dress approx to knee length including hem allowance.

She then gathered the middle section of the centre front and back. Then added a *trim around top edge of the dress and straps. Using a tie belt made in the same fabric to draw in the waist. Voila! a very quick & lovely sundress for summer. No pattern required.

* Note : the trim edge is actually insertion trim and has been joined together on the straps to cover bra straps.
