Reversible jacquard – ‘Infinite’
October 26, 2008
This wonderful reversible 55% cotton/45% poly jacquard called ‘Infinite’ looks divine in this skirt made and worn by Eva.
Eva made up this simple pleated skirt using a pattern from her extensive back issues of Burdamode magazines – I wish I could tell you more …but, she couldn’t remember which one! The bottom band you see at the hem – was a last minute addition. Eva felt her skirt flared out too much at the hem and decided to add this band made from our 100% cotton sateen ‘Jet’, pleating the skirt hem to fit to the band.
It work out beautifully as this is a really lovely example of a tulip style skirt.
Note: the reverse of this fabric is shown in the backdrop.
I love this skirt- great shape and pattern adaptation, and the fabric is fantastic.
