Our latest pattern – The Hazelwood Top
Meet our latest pattern – the Hazelwood Top! Hazelwood has a stylish A-line silhouette and features a relaxed, funnel neck collar, full length set-in sleeves and wide hem and sleeve facings.
The pattern comes with two lengths – Version A (shorter length – above) and Version B (longer length, below, made up in Stone Grey Jersey). Suitable fabrics include firm to medium-weight knits such as ponti, double wool and heavy cotton. These fabrics both accentuate and give great structure to the A-line shape of the design.
The pattern is a fantastic autumn/winter wardrobe staple and, even better, a quick and easy sewing project. Hazelwood looks great worn with jeans and skirts (like my Libby A-line Skirt, above) as well as layered over dresses.
The Hazelwood Top is now available in (Australian) sizes XXS through to XL. All sizes are included in the pattern. You can download the PDF print-at-home/print copy shop version online or purchase a hard copy (for a limited time) online and in-store.
Hello there, do you have the pattern for the skirt in pics 3 and 4 (with a flare)
Thank you
Hi Paigen,
this is our Libby A-line Skirt pattern – https://www.tessuti-shop.com/collections/hardcopy-sewing-pattern-skirts
best regards
I’m trying to sew this top. There is a notch on the sleeve but no matching notch in either the front or back armhole. Is the side of the sleeve with the notch intended for the front or for the back?
We purposefully didn’t put notches on front and back pieces as they are labelled as such, this is customary on stretch knit garments as there is no ease necessary on sleeve head and they are set in differently than on woven garments. However we need to indicate on the sleeve which side the front and back are, to pair them correctly. All you need to do is match sleeve head notch with shoulder seam of top and line up underarms together – the rest will fit perfectly in between.
happy sewing!
Thanks Colette. But, should I try to put the sleeve into the armhole so that the extra notch falls to the front of the garment or the back? Or does it not matter?
Yes, the single notch is to the front.
