A post for Cindy…
October 20, 2008
Although we are in the midst of Spring and we have covered this pattern already, here is a post especially for Cindy …. as promised.
The pattern used is McCalls 4972 – view A (sans patch pockets) made in Tessuti’s Italian wool tweed from our previous winter range. The trim used is this crushed velvet trim plus the wool tweed was frayed to trim the edges and sleeves with. See Georgia’s other versions here and here.
Fabulous flat felled seams.
Happy sewing, Cindy.

Colette you made my day! I am sitting with my morning coffee and blogging. Thanks for sharing! I do love this pattern–I am almost done with mine and will post soon. This black tweed has inspired me to start a second…I love how all three jackets are so different–and beautiful. Thank you, thank you!
You’re welcome…and I’m about to go to bed!!!
Can’t wait to see your jacket.
This jacket is perfect. I love it because it is very soft. greetings, Paco
