Thank you, thank you, thank you….
Take a look at what arrived on my doorstep, all the way from Seattle, Washington…
A very special parcel from Christina containing an issue of Patrones . This is the Spanish equivalent to the Burda pattern magazines, only (in my humble opinion) better. What makes it all the more special is that Christina picked this up whilst on holiday in Barcelona, remembering that I had said these were not available here in Australia. It’s a very sweet gesture and really made my day!!!
And this issue is particularly fabulous! I managed to get these few pictures of some of my favourites looks and then I took it into work to show (off?) to the girls and – yep – drool, drool, swoon, swoon and now it’s on loan. But I want it back soon, y’hear? I do believe that’s called ‘Sharing the love. With limits.’

Also, a very belated and big thankyou to Geri for giving Sew Tessuti the Brilliant Weblog Premio Award along with these fabulous people. Geri says ‘I love seeing all the different garments she posts about’, referring of course to the wonderful garments made by our brilliant, talented customers. And so, once again, I want to pass on a big THANK YOU to our pattern review contributors for allowing me to photograph (pest that I am) and share your creations.
xx
I’m glad to know the magazine is going to get a workout by the Tessuti girls!
I too have been fortunate to have been given that magazine by a friend who holidays in Spain. Its the first ‘Patrones’ magazine I have seen and I found it very exciting. Cant wait to make some of the garments – although I hope my friends translating skills are also being offered!
