The Lisa Dress: Now available in sizes 6-22

Time flies. We can hardly believe that it’s been over 10 years since we released our Lisa Dress Pattern. But here we are, and just like your favourite song, it’s still as good as the day it was first released!

The simple silhouette of Lisa is an absolute classic. Relaxed and comfortable, it features a sleeveless bodice with button/buttonhole opening, bust darts, contoured high waistline and a gathered skirt with side pockets.

It can be worn on its own or over a t-shirt/tank top and our original post shows it worn in various ways. Since its release, we’ve modified it in a few ways – here it is as a top….

…and a lengthened dress, with added ruffle.

And we’re so happy to let you know that the Lisa Dress pattern is now available in an extended 6-22 size range! In keeping with the midi length trend, we’ve also extended the length which can easily be adjusted at the hemline to suit your height and personal preference.

We’ve used our new Etta Apple gingham washed linen (above and below) here and other suitable fabrics for the Lisa Dress pattern include light to medium weight linen, linen blends, cotton, viscose and silk crepe de chine.

We’ve had a few requests to add sleeves to this pattern. With it’s slightly cut-away armhole, this dress has most definitely been designed as a sleeveless garment so if you want to add sleeves, we’d suggest wearing it over a fitted t-shirt or top, as shown below.
